Village Youth Theater
The youth theatre of the Village Players was founded in 2007 to provide a variety of theatrical experiences to youth ages eight to eighteen. Its mission is to offer theatrical programs that inspire and challenge young actors to develop their artistic talents and their self-confidence, self-awareness, compassion and leadership and teamwork skills. VP’s Playwrights @ Work promotes playwriting among its members. This group meets monthly to provide support, encouragement and direction to fellow playwrights. Throughout the year, P@W presents staged readings, and annually the group selects and premiers four original one-act plays from among its members.

Scouting Badge Activities
The Village Youth Theatre offers scouting troops the opportunity to work toward their scouting badges. Scouting troops participate in activities specifically designed to meet badge requirements. All participants receive a tour of the theatre. Troops of 10 or more can attend a youth theatre show at a discount and participate in a talk-back session with actors after the performance. The Village Players and the Village Youth Theatre are proud to support the fund-raising activities of other non-profit organizations by donating complimentary show tickets. Theater / Parking Lot Rentals
The Village Players playhouse is available for rental by members and non-members. Individuals and organizations can rent the auditorium and additional items such as the use of the kitchen, our ticketing system and our technical systems, such as lighting and sound and VP staff to run the box office.
