The Village Players contributes to the culture of the community by offering opportunities for adults and youth to participate in all aspects of the theatre arts; producing high quality, diverse plays and musicals; providing experience in theatre production and management; supporting the writing of original plays; promoting theatrical education for youth; and encouraging an overall interest in and enthusiasm for community theatre.
The Village Players typically presents 5 major productions annually (a mix between musicals and straight shows). Each production runs between 6 and 8 shows. Each year, Village Players may also perform 2 to 3 productions for one-night only for members and guests.
The Village Youth Theatre presents two musicals annually, one in December and one in June. It also holds a four-week Summer Theatre Arts Camp in June and July and runs workshops throughout the year.
Playwrights @ Work hosts a One-Act Weekend annually in July.
