History
The Village Players was founded in 1923 as a nonprofit theatre club and was later reorganized as a community theatre and a 501 (c) (3) organization. It is the third oldest community theatre in Michigan and ranks among the 50 oldest theatre groups in the United States. Village Players is a member-run organization and we welcome everyone to join us in the creation of our productions and events. No matter your talent or inclination, we have a spot for you. Committees include box office, costumes, props, makeup, set construction, sound, lights, stage manager, ushers, marketing and more.
